A dreamy weekend in Cornwall

A few weekends back we went to Cornwall as part of my birthday celebrations.

I love Cornwall, on a sunny day you can literally feel like you're abroad. From Bristol it takes us over 3 hours to drive there, so I guess it's the same as flying somewhere!!

We stayed in a gorgeous little fishing village, Gorran Haven, which is about 6 miles from St Austell. Gorran Haven is the cutest little place, with one fish and chip shop, a café and a bakery. The beach is beautiful and it's amazing that it completely disappears when the tide comes in.

Normally I would head straight to St Ives when in Cornwall, but it does get sooooo busy during the summer months and as we went on a weekend we figured it'd be even more rammed. St Ives is well worth a visit if you're down in Cornwall though.

The colour!!! *heart eyes*

Gluten and dairy free, must mean it's good for you!

This was the view from the end of the garden - stunning!

Little Leia's head in the corner!

Gorgeous town of Mevagissey

Sure this is England?!

It was our first break away that we've taken the dogs on and they loved it! Here's some photos from a wonderful weekend.

What's your favourite Cornish resort?

Ems xx
